I’m kinda interested, although the types of games you play are probably very different from the ones I’m interested in.

Right now, I”m playing around with Minecraft (1.8.8 vanilla) and still occasionally play Age of Empires 2, both of which make it onto Twitch onto occasion. If people are into AoE2, I’d like to see how it goes – I usually play…[Read more]

OK, I”m thinking I might try and nudge this along a bit.

I’m thinking of doing a gaming run on the 8th of April, starting 9pm Sydney time. I’ve managed to get a hold of FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, which looks like a fun way to destroy cars if you’re into racing style games. It’s also as of right now on sale for $5. I’m thinking of running a…[Read more]

OK, looks like we’ve got a few of us coming in for some FlatOui: Ultimate Carnage. Mr. Pirate has arranged for some contenders.

If all goes to plan, we’ll be kicking off from around 9pm Sydney time. If all goes to plan, I shall be streaming the action to http://www.twitchalerts.com/MrDollinger – so hopefully people can join in and watch the action!

Hi all,

I’ve recently been playing around a little bit with vanilla Minecraft, and actually have had a vanilla 1.8.8 server running.

Now here’s the thing: if there are a few ZGeekers who still play around a bit with vanilla Minecraft, I’m happy to experiment with upgrading that to 1.9 and then open it up to interested ZGeek users. The only…[Read more]

Mine came about when I was sitting at home (was a student at the time0. And being a student with only dial-up internet, I tended to have the TV on a lot. I was wanting to come up with a new screen name, and the Wombles came on. Then I went and combined it with an old handle I used. And that was that.

I actually have a lot of respect for my paternal Grandmother. She left this world in 2013. She was a very independent woman, and she said to me a few times that if any of the family discussed the option of going to a nursing home, she’d downright refuse to go.

At the end of her time, she collapsed at home when she was alone. When she came…[Read more]

The whole “concentrate less on what the scales say” sounds like good advice. That does seem to make a lot of sense. The main reason I’m doing it i that I’m the wrong side of 100 kilos, and believe me there’s not a lot of muscle there. Well I’m a long way off doing that to myself. But then, my toes will always be a bit of a mess, part of the family history is somewhat dodgy looking toes, so hopefully I don’t get to the point that they get worse. The family history is the big toe growing slightly over the toe next to it, and the little toe being not quite straight.
